Hi, I’m Brigitta Rab.
I am a Trauma-informed Counsellor offering open-ended online therapy in English and Hungarian.
I was born in Hungary and lived in London, UK for over 13 years.
I hold a BSc in Integrative Counselling from the University of East London and I am currently completing a Master’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health at King’s College London.
I continue to deepen my knowledge through ongoing trainings and professional development.
I was trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Existential therapy, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
My Approach
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. I aim to create a calm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences at a pace that feels safe for you.
I work integratively, drawing from different therapeutic approaches depending on what may be most helpful. Together we may explore patterns in thoughts, emotions, relationships, and coping strategies, helping you develop greater self-awareness and self-compassion.
I see therapy as a space where you can begin to make sense of your experiences, reconnect with your inner resources, and gradually move toward greater clarity and stability in your life.
Neuroaffirming therapist
I work with many neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism.
Special interest in: Narcissism
I have a particular interest in relational trauma, including narcissistic or emotionally harmful relationships, coercive control, domestic violence.
Secondary interest in: Alcohol and substance abuse
I also enjoy supporting clients who are struggling with alcohol or substance use.
